While the Junior Literians’ showed their intellect at Mental Maths, the seniors proved their wits in the Science Quiz and ascertained themselves as the second Ramanujans & Einsteins.
Parents especially Mothers are always valued and honoured at Kidzee for their cooperation & unreserved contribution to the little ones by teaching poetry to them and for being a part of the workshops.
On 13th April,2013; class-wise essay writing & collage making Competition was organised. The budding writers & creative brains astonished the onlookers
The Hindi and English Education were organized with utmost elegance and flair. The students got a golden opportunity to voice out their views and show their oratory skills through extempore, debates and storytelling. The contestants presented in an outright flawless manner with proper pronunciation and diction.
The future leaders of our nation clearly believe in extending a helping hand for spreading the message of education. They wish to have a more literate nation and contribute towards this effort in their own special way. The students of MLZS collected and gifted many useful course and reference books, copies and other study materials among the children of Arya Samaj Hindu School in Hazaribag.
Mount Litera Zee School undoubtedly lays stress on making children socially aware and responsible citizens. Children of the deaf and dumb school were snowed under unfathomable emotions when cute little hands of Kidzee sisters tied the thread of faith and protection on their wrists. Lots of blessings with lots of sweets made the merriment reach its zenith.
The festival of Deepawali witnessed an exciting contest of Kidzee others with creative events of rangoli designing, pot and diya decoration and toran making. Judging the wonderful exhibits of their art work was evidently an ardous job.
The world of ghosts and spirits seemed to have a brief halt at our school on the 31st October 2013 to gleefully celebrate the Halloween Day. Scary enough, even the bright afternoon looked like a haunted and horrendous night.
As a retreat from the busy academic routine, 31st Jan and 1st of Feb 2014 were the playful and delightful days of Kidzee and MLZS juniors when they visited the most desirable spot of the city of Hazaribag, the SNM Park. The day was marked by a joyous bus ride followed by swings and rides, close encounters with magnanimous dinosaurs’ effigies, games and casual chit chats with teachers.
Patriotism is a fervour which need not be a day’s spirit when it comes to MLZS Hazaribag. We take up every opportunity to exhibit our pride and sense of belongingness and responsibility towards our nation. On 15th August, soon after flag hoisting, sweets were distributed followed by inspiring speeches; ghoomer dance was staged and several exhibits were represented by students.
Students from MLZS & outside have also gave incredible presentation of their unique talents of painting, yoga exhibit, dance and vocal melodies during the auditions for the TV show BIG JUNIOR STAR by Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd.
The best performers of the year, the perfect attendance, the best sportsperson and the Pride of MLZS are felicitated as token of the recognition of all their sincere endeavours.
Among SOF Winners, we have Aahaan Ankur, Anjali Kumari, Raj Aryan, Shyamali Sharda, Ananya Jha, Shiv Kumar, Riya Raj, Adarsh, Jeelee, Abhishek & many more who bought laurels not only for the school but also for the city & state at large.
In the month of April, the students of MLZS participated at Mount Litera Olympiad at Alwar, Rajasthan and secured runner-up position among more than 50 branches of MLZS pan India.
Mt Litera Zee School and Kidzee jointly observed their Annual Day, Vibrania 2013, on December 23rd, 2013. Honourable IG (BSF Meru Camp) Shri P C Sharma christened the occasion as the chief guest. Apart from the precious parents, many special dignitaries and eminent visitors graced the occasion. There was magnificent display of exotic talent exhibited through various dance forms, instrumental and vocal flair, lyrical presentation on nature and its continuous destruction, mimes and epic plays, which were enough to win the hearts of keen spectators.
Armed with unbeatable zeal with a strong armour of sportsmanship, students of MLZS and Kidzee, presented a grand show of their athletic skills on their first Annual Sports Meet, ACTIVA 2014, on the 26th of January. Team games with cut throat rankings, along with innumerable and interesting individual track and field events could see many nail biting spectators. The buck up cheers and winning screams rippled through the air of the huge playground. The winners were conferred medals and certificates.
The Graduation Day is another feather to our cap; the day of passing out of geniuses of Senior K.G.s on 10th March 2014. The day ensured showers of blessings and good wishes for every successful day of their challenging life ahead. The parents were evidently overjoyed and filled with emotions.
MLZS has taken their senior wing to the military encampment of B.S.F. (Meru) on 5th Feb.,2014. They met the Real Heroes of our Nation and wished to extend their deep gratitude for a highly enriching experience.
Mount Literians took another expedition “Say No to Polybags Drive” with a message to refrain its use and also distributed paper & cloth bags to the passersby. We aim to change nature and to stop this mass destruction.
The Torch of Learning is an initiative through a bus that has moved around busy streets of Hazaribagh on 19th & 20th Feb with a cause of creating awareness of different learning styles of children and significance of Female Empowerment in India.
On 12th Sep.,2013, students presented a never-to-forget enthralling stage performances for their dear dada-dadies and nana-nanies& awarded them with gifts & mementoes.
The concept of “I CARE” is an integrated concept by Zee Learn where all its nationwide members actively contribute to the noble cause of child protection against all types of child abuse. A seminar for the awareness of the whole purpose was organized. It proved to be a thought provoking and thoroughly informative session. Research based figures and facts were presented regarding the physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse in children and ways to deal with them.
The socially and ecologically aware Mount Literians and Kidzee kids organised a road show on the busy streets of Hazaribag, to spread awareness regarding the harmful effects of bursting crackers. Their leaflets and placards interestingly displayed the hazards of burning crackers on health and nature at large.
An Inter-house Rangoli competition was organised in the school on 13th April,2013 & the final display of the enthusiasm &hardwork of students was a jaw-dropping moment for all the teachers.
On the World Music Day, the students created an atmosphere of applaud and astonishment by their amazing singing & acting performance, the students of MLZS are the powerhouse of talent.
An occasion that is marked by the presence of all eminent dignitaries of the town and the state of Jharkhand at large; and over hundreds of local residents were completely flabbergasted by the stunning performances of Kidzee and Mt. Litera Zee School students. After clearing the tough auditions, both the schools almost bowled over the viewers who could not stop praising the students. Even the parents were thrilled to see such applauds for their children.
Amidst the sun and hot winds, the little creatures of Kidzee spent memorable days of creative talents and fun filled happenings in the month of May and June. The activities ranged from water and sand plays to dance and developing craft skills. The certificates of participation added to the smiles of the tiny tots.
Mount Litera organised a seminar on World Heart Day on 29th September, 2013 with a motive to elevate the consciousness regarding personal health, heart diseases and importance of sports to lead a fit life.
Mount Litera&Kidzee students visited the Army Hospital and the Dental College respectively to commemorate Doctor's Day on 1st July. They expressed their their deepest gratitude by presenting some memorable gifts & wished the patients a speedy recovery and a healthy life.
Away from deliberate strategies and loud publicity, MLZS Hazaribag subtly and most humbly chose its distinctive and unique method of celebrating the occasion, not only on 22nd of April 2014, but every single day of their students’ lives. Volunteers from each class adopted a plant, students created crafts work from waste products etc.
As a token of love and humble gratitude towards the tireless and valuable non teaching staffs of the school, our school celebrated the Labour Day on 1st May 2014. As a mark of their contribution, they were presented with handmade cards by students and gifts by school, which made them overwhelmed.
